Mixed Media

For many years I painted mainly in watercolours and gouache. However, rediscovering a love of printmaking has greatly influenced my creative process. I now tend to use bolder colours and incorporate many different processes and media on each artwork. 

These include watercolours, collage, water soluble pencils, pens, inks, soft pastels and even bleach. I would add that getting older and having slightly deteriorating eyesight has also made me more spontaneous and experimental!
