Moth Print

Taken from a collagraph print of half of a giant Moth, this  image was inspired by Titania’s Faery attendants in Shakespeare’s 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream'. Look out for pretty peasblossoms, mustardseed and a  delicate cobweb too. I enjoyed hand colouring the original collagraph with inks and touches of soft pastels made from real Malachite. This print became the basis for my Silk Crepe de Chine Scarf Moth.
